Malta International Airport welcomes all incoming flights to Malta. Visit this site to find out which airlines fly direct. There are flights from most major European cities and low cost airlines such as Ryanair and Easyjet also into Malta from Stockholm, Milan, Rome, Venice, Netherlands, UK, Spain etc.
Emirates fly to and from Dubai via Larnaca.
AIRMALTA also flies to and from major European cities such as Zurich, Geneva, Berlin, Frankfurt, Munich, Hamburg, Athens, London, Moscow, Paris
The Airport is located in Luqa and it is advisable to take a taxi from the Airport to the Ramla Bay Hotel. The duration of the trip will be around 45 minutes. There is a link on the Malta Airport web site that offers shuttle service from the airport to the hotel and back. The rates are cheaper than booking a regular Taxi.
There is public transport from the Airport to the Ramla Bay although this means that one would have to change buses in Valletta. The duration of the trip would be over 90 minutes. Since most airlines only have one daily flight in and out of Malta it would be a good idea to share the taxi ride with other participants arriving and leaving on the same day.
